CP Bakori Meets With Members Of Police Special Constabulary To Streamline Operations

The Commissioner of Police, Kano State Command, CP Ibrahim Adamu Bakori, PhD, sfipma, mnim, mnips convened a meeting with the Police Special Constabulary on Wednesday, 7th May, 2025 in his office, aimed at streamlining their operations and ensure proper supervision for their effective performance in maintenance of peace and security in the State.
2.0 During the meeting, the Commissioner of Police reviewed operational guidelines in line with the provisions of relevant extant laws and rules of engagements governing their deployment in the Force. discussed challenges, and provided guidance to enhance their performance. He emphasized the importance of discipline, professionalism, and adherence to standard operating procedures.
3.0 The CP also urged the members of the Special Constabulary to work closely with regular Police officers to achieve optimal results in crime prevention and response. He discussed their challenges and assured them of his support and commitment for their operational effectiveness.
4.0 The meeting provided an opportunity for the Special Constabulary to clarify operational issues and the CP enjoined them to always seek guidance and clarification on any areas of concern. The Commissioner of Police’s directives are expected to further enhance the Command’s security efforts.
5.0 Finally, the Commissioner of Police appreciates the contributions of the members of the Police Constabulary to the security of the State and looks forward to more efforts.
