The Emir of Gaya, Dr. Aliyu Ibrahim Abdulkadir, has paid a compassionate visit to the victims who were burnt in the mosque at Gadan village Larabar Abasawa in Gezawa Local Government Area and are currently receiving treatment at Murtala Muhammad Special Hospital.
Dr Aliyu Ibrahim expressed his heartfelt sympathies to the victims and their families, offering words of comfort and support during this challenging time.
The Emir’s visit served as a gesture of solidarity and compassion towards those affected by the tragic incident.
The Royal Highness emphasized the importance of unity and support within the community, urging for continued efforts to provide aid and assistance to those in need.
The emir added that ,Our thoughts and prayers remain with the victims and their families as they undergo treatment and recovery .
Dr Aliyu Ibrahim reassured the victims that the emirate would sponsored all the necessary medical care and assistance for their quick recovery, and donated three Million Naira to the victims.
On his part the District Head Of Gezawa Mai Unguwar Mundubawa, Alhaji Mahmoud Aminu commended the Emir for his compassionate gesture and unwavering support for those affected by this unfortunate event.
Also Speaking Gezawa Local Government Caretaker Chairman Hon Muhammad Bashir Tanko said out of Twenty Five Victims , thirteen peoples were dead by now, and twelves peoples hospitalized at Murtala Muhammad Special hospital receiving their medical treatment.
Hon Bashir Tanko,called on people in the area to always be security conscious and added that, his Council would assist the victims with all necessary assistance and will soon start renovating the Mosque.
